Services

Every treatment, explained first.

Nineteen treatments across six kinds of care. Each one starts the same way: an assessment, a plain-language explanation, and a written quote before anything begins.

Roughly what to expect.

Opaline is a demo clinic, so the figures below are illustrative rather than a real price list. They are here to show how a clinic should answer the question most patients are actually asking: is this roughly within my budget?

What moves the final number

A starting price is not a quote. After your assessment you get a written figure for your own case, and nothing begins until you agree to it. What changes the number:

  • Case complexity
  • Condition of the tooth
  • Materials chosen
  • The full treatment plan

If the written quote comes back higher than you expected, you can stop there. That is what the assessment is for.

HMO coverage

Opaline is a demo clinic and holds no real HMO contracts, so no provider names are listed here. On a live clinic site this is the block where the accepted providers would appear, so a patient can check themselves in seconds instead of phoning to ask.

  • Provider nameAccepted · card + valid ID
  • Provider nameAccepted · card + valid ID
  • Provider nameAccepted · letter of authorisation
  • Provider nameAccepted · card + valid ID

Whichever clinic you go to, confirm two things before treatment starts: that your provider is accepted on the day of your visit, and what your plan does not cover. A good front desk tells you the out-of-pocket difference before the dentist begins, not after.

Before you ask

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is the guide price what I will actually pay?

No, and no clinic can honestly promise that before looking at your teeth. A guide price tells you where a treatment begins so you can judge whether it fits your budget. Your written quote comes after the assessment, covers your own case, and is the number you actually pay. If the two are far apart, you are free to stop at the quote.

How does HMO work here?

Opaline is a concept clinic, so it holds no real HMO contracts — the coverage block above shows how a live clinic should present this. At a real clinic the pattern is the same everywhere: bring your card and a valid ID, let the front desk verify coverage before the consultation, and ask for the out-of-pocket difference in writing before treatment starts.

I have not seen a dentist in years. Will that be a problem?

It will not, and you will not get a lecture about it. Roughly a third of our new patients say exactly this. We start with a gentle exam, agree on priorities, and take things one visit at a time.

Does getting braces hurt?

Placement does not hurt. Teeth feel tender for a few days after each adjustment, which most patients manage with soft food and ordinary pain relievers. You will always know what to expect before it happens.

Can I just come in for a consultation first?

Please do. A consultation carries no obligation to book anything else. Many patients visit once just to get an honest map of their mouth, and decide the rest later.

Next step

Start with the conversation.

An assessment, an explanation, a written quote. Then you decide.
